The first german movie I truly enjoyed watching. It"s funny that I seem to be one of the few who did not connect similarities to Wolf of Wall Street. This was something different.
Thumbs UP. Vor allem fand ich die Kamera Führung total klasse ??. Bevor Ihr alle auf den Kollegen hört, macht euch selber einen Bild davon. Und lasst euch nicht von anderen zu reden, wie der Film auf euch wirken soll. Sadly in "Rising High" it often seems like the producers took pieces of other movies and puzzled them randomly all together. For example the Montage-Scenes: they have been way too unspectacular to level up the movie. The Renovation scene for example had much more potential, when it would have been filmed way more dynamic.
The narrative structure had a big "Who am I" vibe. While in that movie all the backdrops do have a use for the story, here it clearly doesn"t. In the end, it only left"s questions on the viewers mind, like what the hell is that journalist even for?
Summed up "Rising High" is a nice movie to dabble in. Yes, here hasn"t been created anything new, but when it comes down to German movies all there is: little steps are better than none.

Naja, er selber hat nicht viel (gar nichts) mit Werder oder Fußball generell am Hut und ist wohl primär eher für Werbung des Films dort aber trotzdem ein recht sympatischer Typ, auch wenn es jetzt schon bessere BBDF gab. In Zukunft vielleicht mehr Gedanken darüber machen mit wem man so etwas macht, dann regen sich nicht so viele darüber auf. Was meiner Meinung nach aber auch eher Affig ist... Muss sich halt nicht alles um Werder drehen auch wenn das der Werder Kanal ist.
Ich hätte nie gedacht das ich dir einmal widersprechen muss. Der Film war fantastisch, Vorallem die Kameraführung und die Brutalität haben es mir angetan. Einfach kein großes schnickschnack, sondern brutale Action. Das setting mit Indien finde ich dermaßen interessant, genauso wie den Plot-Twist. Von mir bekommt er tatsächlich 9/10 Punkte. I have a summary for you. Betongold immobilien. Betongold englisch. Du sagst Southpaw aus dem Jahr 2019 und daneben steht Southpaw, 2015. Muss sagen, dass ich das erste mal net mit dir übereinstimme. Ich fand es sehr unterhaltsam und ein gelungener Film. Vielleicht liegt das dran, dass du immer was deepes im Film suchst. Einfach mal ballern und ein oberflächlicher Action Film ist auch schön. Die Kameraeinstellungen sind glaube Geschmackssache, weil ich fanden sie gut. Bekommst aber trotzdem ein like. Um ehrlich zu sein möchte ich Sophia Thomalla in gar keinem Film sehen. Jedes Mal wenn ich die sehe krieg ich sofort schlechte Laune.
Hab den Film gesehen und kann ihn nur empfehlen! Der war echt hammer für einen deutschen Film und ich bin generell gar kein Fan von deutschen Filmen ?? Auch hier sieht man wozu gier, hochmut und falsche Liebe führen kann... Warum denn so negativ ? Handgemachte Action, Wahnsinns Kamera und Plansequenz, Sympathischer Chris und kurzweilig. Rein in die Action. Raus in die Action. Hätte den gerne auch im Kino gesehen. Mit Tripple Frontier einer der guten Netflix Original Blockbuster. Kleine Anmerkung noch, besonders Spaßig mit den WatchBuddies von Rocketbeans in Koop. mit Netflix hier auf Youtube! <3.
